Holosun 507 vs 407.
The 508 is appealing because it doesn't look like a NASCAR with Holosun branding on the side like the 507 does. You can't go wrong with either. The price difference is considerable. Kinda wish the Holosun had come out a few years back. Could have saved a ton of money on the 4 RMRs I purchased through that time.

The debate between red dots and green dots seems to last forever. Their testing is a drop test and environmental test (freeze, heat, water) every 500 rounds. The Burris Fastfire III had it's glass fall out and fail on the first drop test after 500 rounds. The Holosun was still working with cracked glass after 10,100 rounds, including the above mentioned drop test and environmental test every 500 rounds.I have the Holosun HS 507C X2 ACSS. The EPS is at least $100 more than equivalent 407k and uses a smaller 1620 battery (407k/507K is 1632). I use compressed air to blow both sights about once a week of AIWB carry. At 25 yards the 35MOA (if I remember right) circle is equivalent to a 8.75” circle so under 25 yards if you can get the circle to be fully covered by the target then it’s a done deal. This is a huge advantage in quick draw high stress situations in my opinion.Both of these red dot sights have worked well for me on my P365XL, but the Holosun would be my choice without question if I had to choose just one.
